dunno y ever since i got back from sydney
there's juz this desire for me to exercise!

anyhow muahaha there just doesn't seem to be any time to exercise!

yay my grandmother's cataract surgery went well today=)

so it was such a great time of catching up yayness!!!

really enjoyed today
had some time today to roam around sydney by myself
so it was a time of solitude

3rd to the sydney opera house=)
thank GOD today's weather was rather awesome
compared to the other day i hung out with the hongkong peepz and it rained the whole day...
hahaha today, it rained twice for a short while
and both times, it gave me the luxury of sitting down and thinking about stuffz=)

yea i got like at least 5 ppl to take photos for me today waha;p
and i met an old cute man hahaha who like volunteered to take photos for me when i was trying to zi pai!!!

This is probably my second last day at school!!!
You might wonder... Isn't this a saturday?
Rest assured! It's the first time I'm going back to school on a Saturday in my whole 3 years at NTU=)));p
Hmmmm waha anyway... the lesson today was based on a mutual agreement between my tutor and the 8 of us!;p

HAHAHA and today was my corporate insolvency law presentation!!!
Thank God it went rather ok! I won't say well because everytime I migrated from just presenting by making sense to trying to go according to script, I'm very certain that I kept jumbling up my words till I was quite confused and I kept repeating my points OOPS!
It was certainly clear that I was the worst presenter today hahaha SO ILL-PREPARED:(((
Anyhow... I don't know since when...
I somehow developed a love for Corporate Insolvency Law.
Even though it was always a long 4 hours each week and it's probably the class I spoke up the most ever since AA102, by far the only module I got an A+ for HAHAHA!!!;p lolz
Ya I developed a love for it such that I find it so very interesting!
Normally, I will be busy preparing for my own presentation while others are presenting. Anyway their presentations are so boring.
But today, I was really like sucked into it and I even bothered asking questions.
I'm sure that the purpose of class participation was really getting involved rather than the small talk people try so as to get their participation grades!

HAHAHA anyhow my tutor is really interesting!!!
And I love how he always distinguishes himself as a legal professional as compared to us, the future accountants!!! lolz;p
hmmm i will really be missing my 830 class on thursday:(((
but i'm sure hahaha he will not miss his worst student who sleeps right beneath his nose! At the front table in class each week HAHAHA;p

Then again,
Thurs afternoon was an emo afternoon....
I guessed it was partly coz we kept taking our last photos of class....
and partly coz Poh Eng Hin went thru with us his 6 lessons in life...
suddenly i felt so emo:(((
He is certainly one of the best tutors around, besides my corp insolvency law tutor and Lee Kin Wai=))) and a few more here and there that I shall not start listing lest I become even more emo...

3. Do not lie to yourself. Oh so true... HAHAHA i mean... lying to others is bad enough... lying to yourself... seriously, what's the point! hehez but I'm guilty of it sometimes. living in denial counts rite;p

6. Marry someone who you love rather than the one who loves you... I guess this ties in with living life without regrets! HAHAHA;p hmmm but i'm not so sure whether I agree with this point...;p I live life without regrets... but love-wise... hmmm mebbe it ain't such a bad thing to marry someone who loves you, especially if you are a girl. I get it from his point considering he is a boy, wait haha MAN wait haha i mean MY PROFESSOR=) hahaha;p lolz!

how better it is than to continue my week with Good Friday=)
after probably the most stressful days of my projects are over!;p
indeed
today was alot of praying and thinking thru stuffz=)
this is especially so since i just got baptise i guess=)

As I was sitting in the sanctuary today...
many thoughts flew through my head
especially after the meaningful song of "Above All" by Michael W. Smith
the song lyrics really touched my heart

for the benefit of my friends who read my blog but do not understand the significance behind good friday...
Basically, I would say that it is the crux of the whole christian faith
Christianity exists because of this wonderful God who sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for all our wrongdoings in this world
basically everything that we do wrong... like lying, cheating, being mean etc.
Jesus took it all upon himself so that we can be clean from all the wrongdoings
we did not do anything, He did everything
And because of that, we have a fresh new life=)
Yup so Good Friday signifies this day around 2000 years ago that this man, Jesus Christ, who had no wrongdoings in His life, came to die for all our wrongdoings

Anyway... the meaning of the lyrics of the song I posted above is this
Crucified is the method He died, which is by far one of the most cruel methods of death and He died for us even though He did not do anything wrong. And the people who wanted Him dead were the very people He came to earth to save.
Laid behind a stone was because after He died, He was placed in a tomb in a cave and a Huge rock was placed to cover up the entrance
You lived to die for He came to live this life on earth for the sole purpose of sacrificing himself for His friends like us
Rejected and alone and even though He was the Son of God, people did not believe Him and when at the point when He died, the people closest to Him, His 12 disciples, did not understand Him and some hid away not wanting to people to know they were related and other denied knowing Him. One even betrayed him. How sad it is to live a life so beautiful yet die in one of the most cruel ways... besides the physical pain, there was all the emotional pain and hurt as well...

since last night till today

I think about how He managed to live His life in this world without any wrongdoings at all
even though He went through everything we are going through now and so much more
by God's grace, may I truly grow to become more and more like him each day=)

Pizza couldn't beat the one i had at Modesto's on Sat;p

i mean i would have to agree considering i couldn't taste a touch of alcohol on it at all!

zzz last night had like 2-3 hours of sleep because i dozed off at 10 plus and finally woke up at 11 plus and den dozed off again at 12 plus to wake up at 1 plus.

it's becoming a norm and i'm really very tired and exasperated.

i am really tempted to get an mc ( can i get it for serious deprivation of sleep for an entire semester? )

or copy during the quiz ( HAHAHA like the people beside me score almost full marks for their paper and i wished i had the time to study tax as well because i like it )...

but then it all boils down to ethics and knowing that God is faithful and never fails me.

If He has brought me to this point, I'm sure He will bring me through it.

Oops I haven't updated my blog for the longest time!
Anyhow, I'm fine and rather recharged and refreshed ever since I got back from YMLC=)
Yay I was super glad I went
Even though it was rather different without mianz, charis and sikhi;p
Miss them loads!

Anyhow, seriously...
God answered my expectations for YMLC this year as usual.
The note I got this year was
"Charlene, may the Lord's love embrace you and overflow in your life so that you can enjoy Him!"
I don't really understand it as of now,
but I believe that in the year ahead, it will really speak to me.

I learnt a number of really interesting lessons when I was there.
Importantly, God reminded me to not do everything by my own strength but by His.
He told me through this song... You are my strength when I am weak,You are the treasure that I seek, You are my all in all.
2 other important things I learnt:
1. Currency of love is time
2. In all essential things, let there be unity. In all non-essential things, let there be diversity. In everything, let there be charity.

i think it never failed to be my biggest problem

zzz one of the reasons why i keep fallin sick
is becoz i never know how to say no
or rather i dun wanna say no
i wanna be everywhere
if i haf 4 events on one night...
i will be there for all 4 even if it means me sacrificing abit more sleep...
and hence,
i guess my health suffers as a result

i'm falling sick again once again

because of the lack of sleep

zzz God has a really rather tough time teaching me to priorities

Just got back from hall camp...

it was really great being part of ITO=)

hmmm uhoh time flies super fast...

and jason's testimony last night was just AWESOME!!!

and 2 hours after making the police report...
jason managed to recover the stuffz by listening to God's voice and finally trackin down the thief near Tao Nan Pri...
it was a superbly awesometestimony and haha so happy for him coz i believe that God is really working thru him=)))

hehez NTU BIZ CAMP was rather fun;p
as in it was really great being back again and reliving those days=)
